About the Artist and the Artwork
Abgar Khachatryan was born in 1981 in Armenia. Graduated from Art College by Panos Terlemezian and Faculty of Art Graphic of State Academy of Fine Arts Yerevan.
Abgar Khachatryan started as a Graphic artist of own printmaking monotype technique in the small sizes, in the bland metals. But nowadays he connects graphics and painting in his collage works. Abgar uses wood or canvas, oil, mixed techniques. There are the symbol of the cross, old manuscripts text, coins, keys, watch mechanics, other ancient and industrial details his works.
Participated in International Art Symposiums, had several personal exhibitions and participated in many group exhibitions in Armenia and abroad.
